In terms of being at ease, the actors in this one were a million times better than those that I saw in the early version of Wizard of Oz (1910). As only a fragment of this Alice film survives, I can't judge it as an entity. But ranging from the quality of the costumes to the brilliant child actors who portrayed the playing cards, I'd say it must have been a pretty good film back in the day.
